Our school is a Title 1 elementary school in Brooklyn, East New York. It is composed of children who come from many cultures and backgrounds and all qualify for free breakfast and lunch programs. Many of my students come to school hungry and unprepared with no supplies or snacks. A large percentage of them are unfamiliar with the alphabet and lack back grammar and learning skills. But regardless of where they come from, when they are in my classroom they are excited to learn and feel loved. I want to give them the language and math skills they need to move forward. Technology will help me differentiate my lessons to meet the needs of all my wonderful students. Technology will help me grow my Kindergarten Garden.
