After teaching first grade for 8 years, and Title I Reading for 4 years, this will be my first year teaching Kindergarten! I could not be more excited to spend my day with kindergarteners. In our classroom, learning is often disguised as play, and themes abound! We love to learn through dramatic play, STEM activities, small-group activities, crafts and projects, and shared reading and writing. My students are wonderful children who I feel blessed to be able to spend my day with. I love the way that they light up when they learn something new. They know they will be challenged. They know they will be successful. They know that I believe in them and that they will be held responsible for their own learning in our room. They know that they can do hard things!
