My students are in need of headphones. Our school did not supply the headphones for our new student iPads that were given to homeroom teachers. Currently, during our math center time and our reading small group time student use the iPads for their Math Dreambox app and/or ABCmouse.com. In the Dreambox app students are given assignments and they have to follow the directions given from the speaker in the app. The problem is when there are 7 iPads going on at the same time, students can't focus on their own lessons or hear the instructions. Then on the flip side it distracts the students who are not using the IPads at the time. With the headphones in place students will be able to actually hear the directions and focus on their own assignments and have accurate data at the end of the day. I will be able to truly decide if they understood the topic versus could they even hear what was being asked.
