My classroom is full of movement. I rarely have my students sit at their seats. They are allowed to move around the room as they work independently, with a partner or in a collaborative group. Children learn by being out of their seats and moving around. The flexible seating I'm requesting for my classroom will help give them a comfortable alternative to a classroom chair. I will use the balls as seats at the computer counter. These seats will help students move while they work and help stay focused on the task. I will use the floor seats around the room. Students will sit on them instead of at a desk! These seats recline so the students will be able to get comfortable!
