The bright colors help my students make connections and stay focused during activities.\r\n\r\nThe part they love most is seeing their own work printed in color. Whether it's their stories, drawings, or certificates, they get so proud to see their hard work come to life. It's such a simple thing, but it makes a big difference in how they feel about learning.\r\n\r\nOne of my students, who usually has trouble staying on task, now gets excited to finish his work so he can print and share it. With this donation you provided a larger carpet for learning activities and group meetings. As well as charts to hang throughout the room to help them visually see what their next activity will be, where they are on the behavior chart, and what their classroom responsibilities are for the day. These are just a few things you helped provide and we could never express the full impact you have made on our children and ourselves as educators. When our students were first introduced to the items they lit up and immediately began using them. We have used these items to begin having centers. The sequin wall is helping them with sensory as well as fine motor skills. They're writing their names and learning shapes on them right now. The tiles are being used to help with sensory as well as a place they can go to re-regulate and get back to learning faster.The white boards and magnetic center is helping with learning letters, numbers, and already being utilized as an area they can go to re-regulate as well. They absolutely love magnets. The light covers are providing a kinder learning atmosphere. Having access to these extra resources has made learning more engaging and enjoyable for the students and we really appreciate the generosity.
