All of my students aren't able to fully participate during technology. Our failing school received a grant for thirty 7" iPads per grade. Each class gets 2 technology periods per week for reading/math. However, I lend my laptop to 2 students to share because the iPads aren't functional for them. That means I am unable to monitor the class' progress during these periods because I don't have my laptop. With 10" tablets, my visually impaired student can now use a tablet without her face in the screen. My student with fine motor problems can functionally navigate his fingers on a larger screen.
