Today perhaps most-if not all-children have experienced some degree of virtual reality through video games. Yet, far fewer have experienced virtual reality as a learning tool. Google has manufactured a VR learning device that is cost effective for classrooms - Google Cardboard. This device, in cojunction with a cell phone and VR educational apps provide opportunities for students to become virtually immersed in world cultures, locations in the Universe, mathematical concepts, and scienctific processes they perhaps could not experience otherwise.
