The materials requested will make a huge difference in our classroom! I plan on using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) bins as morning work and in math centers. In the morning, I want students to come to school excited about what's in store for them, eager to start their day, and not dreading another worksheet page. Morning work will not only be fun but also a learning opportunity. I want to see them building towers, coding, designing, working collaboratively, and thinking critically all before the academic portion of our school day begins! During math centers, these materials will allow me to provide more differentiated instruction to my students. Students will be given task cards and hands-on activities to be engaged in while I am is working with small groups, providing intervention or enrichment.
