The students will have classroom access to the computer programs that provide individualized instruction without having to depend on attendance in a tech one time per week prep period. Students who are absent during that period will be able to make up work in the classroom. The research-based program, iReady has shown marvelous results with students similar to ours based on SES, Standardized testing, and reading levels. This opportunity in the classroom will provide students the opportunity to take part in all the work of the program even when they arrive late or are absent. Attendance is not under their control and to provide opportunities to work around this issue is amazing We will use the technology to motivate students to come to school and to reach their individual goals!
