One way students become lifelong learners is to become lifelong readers! By providing books for our classroom library, my students will be surrounded by a print rich environment that will entice them to explore the joys of reading. Generational literacy will be a hallmark of the impact that your donations will make on these students as a love for reading will begin with them! College dreams will become reality as our students increase reading skills making them competitive for scholarships with students coming from wealthier environments. Reading is the key to lifelong success! As one of my students said, "I never knew how much I liked to read until I found the right book!"
