My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and engaging work space for my students. This year, I'd like to add the flexible seating; wobble chairs, lap desks, stools, meditation cushions. and balance ball chairs. If I am able to fulfill my wish list, students will have the opportunity to select a flexible seating option each week. I've included options were they can work on the floor, at a table, stable seating, seating with movement, solid and soft options. I feel that adding this element to my classroom will provide my students a sense of control and ownership of their learning. It will also add a sense of expectation and excitement as they begin each week.
