I am the proud teacher of 15 amazing students in a small catfish farming community. They are eager to learn and are engaged in multiple learning opportunities. It isn't always easy for my students to encounter technology within the classroom on a daily, or even weekly basis. As a first year teacher, in a new school system, I have received limited technology resources. The problem with this would be the amount of test taking they are required to take on computers on a daily basis. Students are required to take AR, reading, and math tests on the computer. We have one laptop for our entire classroom. My students deserve the opportunity to research and explore the world of technology. I am asking on behalf of my students that you consider donating to our cause. Our school states a promise each morning after the Pledge of Allegiance, one of the lines in this is "I am simply the best!" That pretty much sums up my feelings. My students are simply the BEST!
