My students are in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. These 900+ students visit the Mission: STEM Lab on rotation. My students are excited about learning and amaze me at their understanding of concepts and their willingness to see outside the box. My school is a K-8 magnet school and the center for all the K-8 gifted students in our county. We are not a Title l school, so we do not have funding for technology. Our school's computers are 8 years old and many are not even repairable. The chance to have an iPad in a class that each elementary student attends throughout the year, is an exciting possibility.
