My students would benefit from new glockenspiels because they love working with instruments. Not only does playing instruments strengthen connections between the hemispheres of the brain, research indicates it helps in achieving reading and math goals. With these new glockenspiels, students will be even more motivated to engage in music lessons. Playing musical instruments engages both sides of the brain, leading to better scores on standardized tests. Students will use these glockenspiels to learn to read music, improvise, improve eye-hand coordination, and explore beat and rhythm. In addition to singing and moving, the instruments will allow the children to discover and explore music in new ways.
