Students at my school are diverse culturally and socioeconomically. Most students speak English as a second language and many serve as translators for parents/guardians. Capitol Hill High School students have enthusiasm for their school, their community, and their heritage. All students believe they can better themselves and strive each day to do so. Students in my classes work hard despite disabilities that would hold others back from attaining success. Students in my classes care about each other and the school they attend. Students want to succeed and obtain a job some day and be independent. Each student is also an enthusiastic teenager who looks forward to attending a school equipped with the best America has to offer. As a teacher, I am hoping through Donors Choose, to be able to provide these students with equipment and technology they can use now and in the future. Capitol Hill High Redwolves are the best!
