District 5 is in Harlem, NY. Students from all over the district compete in an annual Spelling Bee, spelling grade level and above words. Students and families show their commitment and dedication in preparing for the Spelling Bee. Students, who are from multi-cultural backgrounds are competitive and energetic during the competition. It was a joy last year to gift the 1st place winners with a Kindle Fire tablet, it is with high hopes that the 1st place winners for 2017 can go home with the same gift!

About my class
