Our students need a Lego Mindstorms EV3 Robotics core kit and a Lego Ev3 Expansion set to participate in their First LEGO League. These kits will enable our students to compete as our school’s first Robotics team. These students are tech savvy and determined to succeed in spite of their many socio-economic challenges. They have been inventive with the limited materials that they do have. These young pioneers seek ways to recycle, reuse, and rethink the conventional use of everyday items. With our limited supplies, our students have successfully achieved project-based learning through the process of engineering and design. The resources provided within these kits will ensure that our students are meeting national curriculum standards while gaining knowledge through real-life robotics.
