I cannot say enough good things about my class. They are respectful and ready to learn all day long. There is nothing I'd rather do then come to school each day to help them learn and learn from them. My district is a rural school where many children receive free and reduced lunches. Many of my students are in need of basic supplies which I happily provide for them. I enjoy buying things for the classroom because the smiles on their face are worth it. Unfortunately, I am not able to purchase all the materials necessary. However, they are always appreciative of what I can give them no matter how small. My students deserve the best, and I strive everyday to give them my best. My students are use to not having a lot, but I do NOT want it to be that way in my room. That is why I wish that I had the tables and carpets so that they could truly be comfortable and safe. My students NEVER ask for any of these things; which is exactly the reason why they are so deserving of new supplies.
