I teach 7th grade social studies at a middle school in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Most of my students are from challenging backgrounds, having grown up in a low-income neighborhood. They are grateful and eager to learn about different cultures, people, and events throughout history. My school provides a safe learning environment for students. The staff at the school are ardent educators who give their very best to ensure that our students are not only learning, but going above and beyond to reach their full potential.

About my class
