Students within the walls of our school come from all ends of the earth to sit in my classroom. Just as some students are tall, others are short, some are blond, others are brunettes, some have brown eyes while others have green many of my children live in low income housing while others live in nice manicured lawn homes. They come to me as carefree cartoon watching babies and other run their household insuring their younger siblings have dinner that night and go to bed on time. Wherever it is they come from...they have arrived....at school!
