My students are the leaders of tomorrow. They have bright minds and are creative thinkers. They are hard workers and need the direction of a well prepared teacher. They solve problems and find answers so quickly--why not give them as many opportunities and experiences as possible? They completed the code.org contest and earned a grant to pay for most of this computer. I am amazed at their abilities and want to support their strong spirits. We are the first S.T.E.M. school in our community and I think we have accomplished so much in this first year. I feel that acquiring quality equipment, like this computer, that will serve our students for many years, is teaching them that they are empowered, and that if they work hard, they can accomplish great things.
