I have a lively class who has an incredible energy for learning. Each child is sweet, bright, funny, and excited to learn. Anything I have given the children to learn this year has motivated them to ask many questions and strive to learn more than required. Their writing and assessment scores prove that they are ready to continue being challenged! Unfortunately, we have no technology in our classroom and we lose 25% of our time in the computer lab each school year due to testing in the upper grades. Our school is a working class school where there is very little funding provided. The children deserve to be able to learn through technology just like they get to do at some of the more underprivileged schools with more funding and programs. Please consider helping our children with an iPad for the classroom which will help children reinforce their learning in an exciting and challenging way during their literacy and math center rotations each week.
