These books will be used by students to support their independent reading requirement in English 9. These students have disabilities and would love to have updated texts that they can relate to. Currently, in our limited class library are titles that many adults grew up with 30 years ago; texts that the multi-ethnic students that I work with struggle to relate to. The books that you help put into my classroom will bring joy to my students who have repeatedly asked for new titles to explore. Thank you graciously for your support. My students have specifically requested some of the titles, and I look forward to surprising them with your gift!
