With British composer and recording engineer Jude Obermller, students in grade 6, 7 and 8 will record the audio for five songs. From there, the students will shoot five music videos to create a lasting showcase of their work in musical theatre class. We will transform the classroom into a recording studio where Brooklyn Prospect middle school students will learn the skills and rigors of professional recording. The final product will demonstrate the power of the united voices in Brooklyn Prospect's diverse community of learners. Mr. Obermller has collaborated closely with luminaries of popular music and musical theatre including Robbie Williams, Les Misrables creator Alain Boulil, and Broadway star Cynthia Erivo. He's received numerous honors from celebrated institutions including New York City Center and The Cameron Mackintosh Foundation.
