My students are eager learners and hard workers! They truly enjoy school and have recently discovered the power of books! While our school is primarily affluent, our class library of leveled readers is still not meeting their needs! Each child is required to have at least 10 books at their finger tips at a times to fuel their love for reading. Although we are fortunate to have technology resources at our finger tips, Nothing can take the place of holding a book and learning to point to words you have learned, retelling exciting parts of their favorite book while showing a reading partner or simple taking a book home and reading it for the first time with you family.
