My students meet together every other day for music instruction. We sing, dance, play circle games, play instruments, learn about composers, learn about notes and rhythms, and so much more. My students come from multicultural and various family backgrounds including Spanish and Vietnamese speaking. Some students come from other countries without being able to speak any English. We are a Title I school where the poverty level is high with the majority of students being on free and reduced lunch. Many of our students suffered greatly during Hurricane Harvey.
