Students have the ability to do amazing things if we push them in the right direction and hold high standards for them. That is what I do each and every day in my English classroom as well as when I advise my journalism class. While the school gives us plenty to do our jobs well and to push these students in the right direction, there are plenty of things that we need in order to supplement the student experience in high school. Either things come up missing over the summer, technology is outdated, or some other opportunity that is missing for these students. Please help so the students of Bakersfield High School can be pushed to their limits and learn that they can achieve much more than they ever expected.

About my class
