As a special education high school math teacher, I work with students from many diverse backgrounds, with individual needs that are just as diverse. However, they are all performing below grade level in math, and in many cases this has caused an apathy and dislike for the subject. My goal is to get my students to once again enjoy math, by using fun and engaging activities that allow my students to participate in hands-on learning that provides both remediation and rigor.

About my class
