My students live in a town with a lot of staying power. Many families are third- and fourth-generation residents. Yet many others are brand new to Little Falls, moving in because of great neighborhoods and fine schools. Our middle school includes grades 5-8, and every year the sixth graders recognize that it's time to start stepping up to their responsibilities. Last year they were new to our school building, but now they start to take ownership for the activities, the clubs, and the general atmosphere of determination and success. It's a fantastic metamorphosis to enjoy.
