My students attend an inner city 7-12 high school. It is a "C' school with, as most schools, a shortage of funds. Many of our children do not have access to computers or Internet in the homes. We are located in a low income area. Many of our students are living in homes that are still being repaired from Katrina. They are eager to learn when given the proper tools. Some of my children are able to stay after school to have a turn with the limited tools, but most families are not able to provide transportation. I have shown them this request and I am sure each day they will ask if we have heard anything yet. As I said they are eager learners.
