My students are in a school that is All Title One. Everyone is entitled to free lunch. They are a tough bunch of students full of energy, but willing to learn new things. They look forward to coming to my class and experiencing new ideas, concepts and working together to create great projects. Their scores are not great, so as a school, we work hard to increase their writing and reading skills by incorporating new language and words through technology and other means. As a music technology teacher, I have had the privilege of inspiring students to want to read and learn new skills never introduced to them before through music and technology by using cameras, recordings and the computer. The students create scripts and express themselves in a different way. They create rewarding experiences for me. I get excited for them when they finally get it right. Every nine weeks we change groups of students. This allows the "Arts" teachers to service the entire school of about 450 students
