Our classroom consists of two groups of twenty-three fourth graders, including students with special needs and students with a wide variety of learning styles. They are excited to learn and love to try new strategies and approaches to learning. We are a part of a kindergarten through fifth grade public elementary school. We are also a school of the arts and my students love to incorporate visual arts, drama and music into our daily learning of mathematics and science. We are a Title 1 school and many of our students do not have access to computers or iPads at home. Introducing them to technology at this young age gives them the opportunity to develop skills they will use throughout their academic and professional careers. They would love to have two iPad minis in the classroom to use on a daily basis to enhance their learning.
