Students will use the Phonemic Awareness Learning Centers, Word Family Flip Books, Alphabet Stamps and ink pads, Touch Read Blends Digraphs Match, Splash CVC Word Game, and Power Pen Early Reading Quiz Cards for centers during small group time. While I am working with students using the Double Sided Magnetic Letter Tiles, Alphabet Sounds Teaching Tubs and Classroom Magnetic Letters Kit to help build words and review spelling patterns, letter sounds and develop reading skills, students will be able to use the above listed items in centers to expand the learning in reading, spelling and comprehension that they had during small group. The Power Pen Quiz Cards will provide multileveled learning and reinforcement of skills. Students will be able to continue to build and practice skills they are struggling with as well as skills they have mastered during small group time using the games and flip books. The Follow the Dot Stamps will help students to build spelling words and sight words and then correctly form their letters. During the struggles of Covid-19 students have been limited to independent learning, away from a classroom and centers. With these materials they will be able to build social skills and learn at the same time. These centers will bring a sense of normalcy to learning.
