I teach 100% Native students. They are funny and smart. They love to come to school and learn about new things. Our school is a fun place with a welcoming environment. We live in a very isolated area with little access to materials. Our community is strong, however statistics show that our test scores and graduation rates are lower than their non-Native peers. Our students need to be given materials and support so that they can access the kind of education their peers get throughout the rest of the state and the rest of the country.

About my class
