My school is located in an urban setting where approximately 30% of the students receive ELL (English Language Learner) services. The area is impoverished with a decent amount of students who are homeless, live in shelters or in government housing. School wide, the students are incredibly hard working and well behaved. They may not have a lot of support outside of school, but they come to school every day with smiles and do their best.
