These class sets of magazines will provide students with nontraditional forms of text, that will expose them to various sources of information and allow me the teach them to love reading. These texts will help motivate the students to want to read and become lifelong readers. Scholastic Magazine and Time Magazine are great resources to help the students experience text outside the typical textbook or online texts. With the digital versions of these text included with the paper version, I am also able to differentiate the reading levels of the students and make reading more enjoyable for those students who may be struggling to read.
