My amazing 3rd-grade students are full of wonder and thrive when "doing" science. Unfortunately, many of them have a limited resources at home and are often times not exposed to the same experiences that other children have. We are a Title I school, and 100% of our population receives free and reduced lunch. Additionally, our school is located in Nevada, one of the most underfunded states when it comes to education. I easily spend 3-5% of my salary on supplies for my class. I am reaching out to our community to help fund cool and educational science activities that I can bring to my students.
