In my classroom, we use our technology multiple times throughout our school day. Technology is key in the world we live in, and in the working world our kids will enter into. It is important for them to understand how to use technology properly. Technology can help encourage active participation in the classroom which is also a very important factor for increased knowledge and retention of that new knowledge. My students want to use technology in the classroom. It is one of the things that helps me keep them motivated. The use of technology already comes so easy to most students, some days they teach me new things as well! Having one chromebook per student would greatly benefit the students in my classroom. Students use their chromebooks for most topics that we cover throughout the day. This includes Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science. With class sizes increasing next year, I need about five more to cover my students needs.
