Students from Montana are great kids who come from diverse families. While some are able to travel and experience activities outside of our area, most do not. The majority of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch and live below the poverty line. As teachers, we try to expose our students to as much diversity as we can. By simulating history, it helps students have a first-hand knowledge of what gold panning was like years ago. It helps them understand how the history of Montana, and our country, have taken shape.

About my class
