My students come from a wide range of backgrounds and are 5th and 6th graders. They participate in most activities together, learning the same information in reading, writing, science and social studies. We have two lessons each day for math to ensure that each grade's needs are being met. We have a very cohesive classroom community and if someone were to walk into the class, they would struggle to see which students are 5th and which are 6th.
