I work in an urban public high school. I teach integrated students and honors students 9th grade English. My students are vibrant, insightful, talented,and energetic. Each student brings a unique energy to the classroom, and each student has a different set of needs and interests. I have many students that read below grade level, and as a result, shy away from reading and view it as a burden. I also have students who read above grade level, and are always looking for something new to explore. My school is a fantastic institution dedicating to providing students with a quality education. We work hard to give students everything they need to succeed in school and beyond.
