Our school is dedicated to creating and maintaining a child-centered environment where teaching and learning are exciting. Instruction is designed to inspire free thinking as well as accommodate individual learning styles so that all may experience success. My students have various and unique academic, emotional, physical, and societal needs. Although they are diverse in nature, they all share the will to succeed and have proved to be resilient to the harsh and sometimes unfair realities of their environment. My students are expert observers and researchers. They are eager to learn about the importance of data collection and how the support of a habitat is dependent upon various symbiotic relationships that require some similar conditions across habitats. Hands-on activities are most appealing and best received which is why this project is so engaging for my students.
