Chromebooks in our classroom would be incredibly beneficial for my students. Students would use the Chromebooks on a daily basis for center time. They use a program called iReady for literacy and math. Currently, our classroom computers are extremely outdated. Technology in the classroom allows students to explore many new and exciting opportunities. These Chromebooks will allow my students to further develop and enhance literacy skills such as reading, rhyming, word identification, and letter recognition. Furthermore, the students will develop mathematical skills such as number identification, money identification, patterns, and number sense. Technology increases the availability of resources to the students and can address many learning needs. We have seen how technology positively enhances education and believes that the Chromebooks will positively influence my students' learning and the students will have fun doing it!
