Our school is located in an Urban City, in New Jersey. We have one of the highest crimes rates in the nation. The students come from various situations but a lot of them do not come from a loving home environment. They have a lot of problems but we work through each situation individually. Each day is a challenge but the school environment is a safe place where problems can be worked out. My students are greatly in need of a lot of things but learning technology is a biggie! They may not come from families that give them computers, tablets, or iPads, but I want them to know that school is a safe place where they will learn how to advance in their situations. Technology can greatly help them. I believe that these kids should have some of the same advantages that Suburban Students have. I also believe that due to your kindness you can show them that by donating to this cause.
