My school building is a single story structure that opened in 1953. The building was used for many different grade configurations throughout the years. Now it is a 4th and 5th grade school with four classes of each grade level. My school is located in a rural area where all students are bussed to school. The students are very much "outdoor" kids. Many hunt, fish, ride snowmobiles and other recreational vehicles, and care for farm animals. Most students also sign up for organized sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, cheer leading, football, and even wrestling.
