Help me give the students the ability to enjoy summer away from technology. The materials that we are seeking, such as family board games and items that promote outdoor activity and interpersonal problem-solving skills will help them grow their minds and bodies. In Montessori, we emphasize the head (logical reasoning), the heart (empathy and love), and the hand (work and innovation). These items will allow children to use each of these as they work cooperatively with family members and neighbors during these activities. Montessori also places an emphasis on choice; so students will be able to choose the activities they love most and curate their own summer bags that they can take home.
