Our pre-k program is part of a New York public early childhood elementary school. The children in my pre-k classroom are predominantly recent immigrants from China. As they enter the year in September, many of the children are being introduced to a new language, environment, and culture. Their ability to adapt, explore, and flourish socially and linguistically is quite remarkable. Hands-on, meaningful exploration is the primary tool we use to open the channels of inquiry, collaboration, and talk.

About my class
