I am proud to teach Math in Room 209! Room 209 is a safe place for everyone to be themselves. We keep a strict schedule thanks to Siri.("Hey,Siri. Give me a five minute timer!") In spite of a rigorous time schedule, we always try to find time to laugh. Room 209 is full of amazing people. People who celebrate when someone says their 6 times tables in front of the class. People who cry together when a pet dies. People who get inspired to save the planet and come up with crazy and not so crazy ways to do their part. People who are generous with their last eraser and take time to tie each other's shoe laces before recess. Most of us have been together for two years since I taught 2nd last year. (Let me tell you, I have seen A LOT of loose teeth fall out!) We have been through so much together and have a close bond. That's what makes Room 209 a caring, open, and safe place to be.
