"The future belongs to the curious, the ones who are not afraid to try it, explore it, poke at it, question it and turn it inside out." This quote embodies my motivation to launch this robotics team for it's inaugural challenge season. As an elementary school teacher, nothing excites me more than knowing I can help students explore their potential. Our team of 6 fourth grade girls will be the pioneer FIRST robotics team at our school, as well as our entire school district! We will build our robotic Lego model using the Lego Brick Set, together with the WeDo 2.0 Core Set powering it all the way. I requested three WeDo 2.0 Core Sets, as it is recommended to have a maximum of 2 students per set, to encourage full, hands-on participation by all team members. The WeDo 2.0 Add-On Power Pack will provide extra juice to keep our motors running! By donating to this project, you will give our fledgling team the tools they need to launch into the exciting experience of innovating solutions to the FIRST LEGO League Jr 2018-2019 robotics challenge! This all-girl team will focus on growing, learning, challenging, and supporting each other as we trailblaze our way into the world of engineering and robotics!
