We have more students than ever that benefit from your generosity. \r\n\r\nThe students that get overwhelmed by large crowds or noises are able to regulate quicker and then engage in our activities. For example, one of our TK students was not able to do the after school activity, cooking class, that our school offered because she was so overstimulated. When we go the headphones and put them on her, she was able to participate and enjoyed the enrichment. A few students were not able to engage in PE with all 60 TK students until they had the headphones on and could take out some of that stimulation. Now they play the PE activities with smiles and laughter.\r\n\r\nWe cannot thank you enough for the impact you have made in the lives of our TK cuties.","fullyFundedDate":1760714858424,"projectUrl":"project/little-ears-need-sensory-protection/9653497/","projectTitle":"Little Ears Need Sensory Protection","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vaithianathan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4390184_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1495124591806","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4390184"},{"teacherId":3908678,"projectId":9470358,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, my students with hearing loss are more excited and engaged than ever! This shed has been transformed to be a cozy area where students can get away from all the noise and stimulation on the playground. We have so many more students that are easily dysregulated and need a space to calm down. The chairs that you provided for the project are PERFECT! They are have a soft cushion and are easy to clean. The students can pick a stuffed animal, fidget and a book to sit with and relax/regulate when the outside noise and activity is too much for them. \r\n\r\nThe chairs have also been used for our 5th grade big buddies to read a story their TK buddy in our Reading Cabin. We know there will be so many more students using them in the near future too.\r\n\r\nBefore this calming area was opened, students were needing to be in my classroom every time we were at breakfast, lunch, recess, etc. because they were so overstimulated. Now I actually get a bathroom break and can eat my lunch without having to help regulate students during it. The students are happy to have a safe space to get away and the teacher is happy to get a break in the day.","fullyFundedDate":1746787020932,"projectUrl":"project/outdoor-reading-seating/9311774/","projectTitle":"Outdoor Reading Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vaithianathan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4390184_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1495124591806","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4390184"},{"teacherId":3908678,"projectId":9053373,"letterContent":"I am deeply grateful for your generosity in funding our project for auditory development.
